This comic was inspired by the time I threw a housewarming party and invited family, friends and co-workers. The year before, my mother had a hysterectomy and the aftermath was not positive. She'd come up with a phrase - a warning to any woman - to consider other alternatives to surgery unless it was life-threatening. She decided to repeat that phrase - "Don't let anyone take your pussy!" to my co-workers. To this stay, she stands by that decision, telling me "they needed to know!".
